Hurricane Irma Claim Deadline:

Hurricane Irma Claim Deadline:

Hurricane Irma struck the west coast of Florida back in September of 2017 and caused an estimated 77 billion dollars in losses. There is still time to file an insurance claim for damages caused by this extremely powerful hurricane; however, the deadline to file a claim is closer than you might think. All insurance claims for damage caused by Hurricane Irma must be filed no later than September 9th, 2020. This is a result of statutes of limitations, which is the time period after an event where legal action can be taken.

Thankfully, it is not too late to file a claim. The team of experts at Altieri Insurance Consultants would be more than happy to help you navigate the insurance claims process. With over three decades of insurance adjusting and consulting experience, we are more than capable of efficiently and effectively working through the claims process in order to yield the best results for you.

The damage caused by hurricanes can be substantial; as exhibited by some of the many major storms that have hit over the past years. The 2020 hurricane season has been above average as expected, and looking to the future, it is likely that the trend of very active hurricane seasons will continue. Altieri Insurance Consultants are committed to offering professional services to assist you both before and after the storm.
