Andrew M. Knox, SPPA

Andrew is one of the few public insurance adjusters in the country who claim the legacy of being a third-generation adjuster. Raised in a family of public adjusters, adjusting has been an important part of life for Andrew from an early age. To this day, Andrew continues to maintain the core values and reputation for excellence that his father and grandfather established before him.

Andrew graduated from Villanova University prior to officially beginning his career in public adjusting. With a solid foundational background that only a lifetime of experience in an adjusting family could provide, Andrew quickly advanced toward a position of leadership within his family’s firm, and within the industry at large.

The Knox and Altieri families have a long history of combining their adjusting talents that dates back to the 1990’s, and Andrew first began working with the Altieri family in 2012 following the devastation of Superstorm Sandy. After nearly a decade together, Andrew has become a highly valued member of the Altieri team. Andrew lends his experience in executive level operations and claims management, and personally adjusts some of the most complex commercial claims. When Andrew is adjusting or overseeing a claim, his clients gain the advantage of having three generations of claims knowledge and experience at work for them.

In recognition of his devotion to the industry, Andrew was given the prestigious honor of being elected to serve a three-year term as a Director for the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (NAPIA). Andrew is also a past President of the Ocean County Business Association (OCBA), a trustee of the Ocean County 200 Club, a trustee of the Ocean County Sherriff’s Foundation, and a past Commissioner of Recreation for the Borough of Beachwood.

Andrew maintains adjusting licenses in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Wyoming and the Virgin Islands.
