Barry Wilson has joined Altieri Insurance Consultants (AIC) in the Tampa office.
Barry has a specialized skill set not attributed to many inside the profession of public adjusting. Barry’s experience in fire service, combined with him possessing a law degree, makes his addition to the firm distinctly exclusive. Altieri is very excited to add another extremely qualified associate to its incredible claims team.
Barry is a graduate of the University of Florida and holds a Juris Master’s Degree from Florida State University College of Law.
Barry’s advanced degree in law provides him with the exceptional ability to analyze and interpret legal information, as well as understand legal concepts and regulations. This specialized skill set blends perfectly with the daily practices of our adjusters who read and apply insurance policy coverage with claims principles as we advocate for our clients to insurance companies.
Barry also has spent the last 20 years in the fire service industry, recently serving as a company fire captain since 2020. Barry’s background in public service and his legal education allows him to offer a unique and valuable perspective to clients at AIC.
Barry is a Florida native who grew up in the Tampa Bay area. He and his wife—also a Florida native—live in Tampa Bay with their two sons. Outside of work, Barry enjoys coaching, hockey, golfing, and spending time with his family.
