John Birge joined Altieri Insurance Consultants as a state licensed Public Insurance Adjuster in June of 2022. John has come to Altieri bringing an extensive background in handling large commercial and residential property claims throughout the Southeastern United States.
Prior to joining Altieri, John worked 12 years for multiple insurance carriers as a property claims adjuster, Vendor Manager, and Property Claims Supervisor.
John possesses extensive experience in managing a diverse array of property claims, including hurricane, fire, tornado, hail, water, and complex large commercial losses. John’s insurance company management experience provides him the opportunity to successfully convey his insightful strategies, analysis, and influence in compelling insurance company adjusters to settling claims fairly and timely for his clients.
The depth of John’s industry experience brings to Altieri another high-level property adjuster for our clients to rely upon when disaster strikes. His experience has afforded John the ability to develop a unique skill set, with a capability to deliver a consistently high-quality work product in stressful, deadline driven environments.
John also possesses superior communication skills with a keen sense for interpreting, then conveying, complex policy language and coverage interpretation into layman’s terms for his clients. His ability to leverage these strengths with a customer-driven philosophy and his finely tuned analytical skills have been extremely valuable to the claim teams he has supported. We see this same level of excellence now working on behalf of Altieri clientele.
John attended Florida State University, graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
John is married, has a baby girl on the way, and is also a proud dog owner of two Dutch Shepherds. He is an avid golfer, fisher, FSU fan, and loves the Atlanta Braves.
