Peter “Pete” Sowisdral is a licensed public insurance adjuster with Altieri Insurance Consultants and the Regional Director for South Florida.
Pete has proven to be one of Altieri’s most versatile public adjusters. He has successfully handled many commercial and residential claims for clients while simultaneously providing support for the firm’s Business Development efforts, participating in multiple corporate outreach marketing events throughout the Southeastern United States.
Prior to joining Altieri, Pete worked for nearly 10 years as an Independent Claims Adjuster for several major insurance companies. This experience allowed Pete to gain valuable knowledge regarding insurer claims handling procedures, policy coverage application, and claim strategies utilized by major insurance companies.
As a public adjuster who handles both sides of the business, Pete draws from a deep reservoir of experience to not just handle claims more effectively, but to also convey the complexities facing prospective clients when they encounter a major property claim.
Always striving to stay on the cutting edge of our industry, Pete frequently attends continuing education seminars and is a member of the Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters.
As a proud graduate of the University of Florida, Pete is a season ticket holder for the Florida Gators football team. Pete is also an avid golfer, playing some of Florida’s finest courses and has won multiple amateur tournaments throughout North and South Carolina while teamed with his father who lives in Raleigh, NC.
