Altieri’s Steve G. Mason Honored by CAI

Altieri Insurance Consultants (AIC) National Director of Business Development Recognized for Achieving CIRMS Designation

On May 10, 2024, at the Community Association Institute (CAI) National Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, in front of over 1,500 attendees, Altieri Insurance Consultants’ (AIC) National Director of Business Development, Steve G. Mason, CMCA, AMS, PCAM, CIRMS, joined a select group of fewer than 200 insurance and risk management professionals worldwide as he was recognized by CAI for achieving the prestigious CIRMS Designation.

The Community Insurance & Risk Management Specialist (CIRMS) designation is one achieved through intense study of a wide variety of loss prevention and recovery techniques and strategies to employ before, during, and after a major disaster occurs to community associations.

“Professionals who earn CAI credentials maximize the value they can provide to their community association clients,” said CAI Chief Executive Officer Thomas M. Skiba, CAE. “Not only have these professionals demonstrated a personal commitment to self-improvement, but they have also elevated their practical knowledge and expertise. That’s what all community associations need, and what board members and residents deserve.”

In his role as the firm’s National Director of Business Development, Steve leads the Altieri team of professionals in bringing adjusting expertise through Continuing Education pre-loss preparation programs to thousands of Community Association Managers (CAM’s) throughout Florida and the United States.

AIC President & CEO, Ray Altieri, III, remarked, “Steve provides a highly specialized curriculum illustrating to CAM’s how to minimize, control, then successfully survive the disastrous impact of physical property damage and the complex claims adjustment activity that follows with insurers.”

Additionally, AIC Founder & Chairman, Ray Altieri Jr, CPPA, stated, “In recent years, our corporate mission has developed far beyond that of solely handling claims for clients after their loss occurs. Steve has been very instrumental in developing our valued client pre-loss preparation effort, so when the next disaster comes, they are ready.”

The Shareholders, Directors, and Adjusters of the firm express their elation at having Steve Mason lead their educational outreach and stand together in professing heartfelt congratulations to Steve on achieving recognition from this prominent group of highly trained and dedicated professionals.
