Andrew J. Altieri

Andrew J. Altieri is the Chief Financial Officer at Altieri Insurance Consultants.

As the company’s CFO, Andy manages all corporate finance, corporate policy, and is the primary liaison with the company’s Certified Public Accounting firm.  

Andy also leads our Business Income team as the principal accountant responsible for the handling of our commercial client Time Element Coverage claims for lost business.  Andy drives financial analysis, forecasting, preparation, and negotiation of these highly complex claims with the CPA’s of insurance company National Forensic Accounting firms. Through use of his accounting expertise, Andy’s analytical skills decipher historical trends through the study of client corporate financial records to identify and forecast lost future income production.   

Andy joined Altieri Insurance Consultants in 1997 as a public insurance adjuster to provide forecast accounting expertise for Business Interruption, Extra Expense, and other Time Element loss analysis for the firm’s commercial clients.

Andy is a 1981 graduate of Le Moyne College in Syracuse, N.Y., with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Prior to joining Altieri Insurance Consultants, Andy worked as an accountant for a public accounting firm, then for a multi-billion-dollar energy corporation in New York State, with financial oversight of the construction of its nuclear facility.

In recognition of his professionalism and dedication to the industry of public adjusting, in 2005 Andy was elected President of the Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters. Andy is a member of the organization’s Board of Directors through the Past President’s Committee. Prior to his election as President, Andy had served for several years as the organization’s Treasurer

Andy is also a member of the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters and is Treasurer of his Men’s Group for his Catholic Church.

Andy and his wife have been married since 1996 and they have one son and a dog.
