Andrew J. Altieri is the Chief Financial Officer at Altieri Insurance Consultants. As the company’s CFO, Andy manages all corporate finance and process in working with the company’s Certified Public Accountants.
Andy is a 1981 graduate of Le Moyne College in Syracuse, N.Y., with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Prior to joining Altieri Insurance Consultants, Andy worked as an accountant for a public accounting firm, then for a multi-billion-dollar energy corporation participating in financial oversight of their construction of its nuclear facility in New York State.
In 1997, Andy joined Altieri Insurance Consultants as a public insurance adjuster to provide forecast accounting expertise for Business Interruption, Extra Expense, and other Time Element loss analysis.
Through the use of his accounting expertise, Andy’s analytical skills decipher historical trends through the study of client corporate financial records to identify lost future income production. Andy then works with the client and client Certified Public Accountants to prepare, present, and negotiate client claims with all nationally based insurer forensic accounting firms in support of our commercial client base.
In recognition of his professionalism and dedication to the industry of public adjusting, in 2005 Andy was elected President of the Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters. Andy is a member of the organization’s Board of Directors through the Past President’s Committee. Prior to his election as President, Andy had served for several years as the organization’s Treasurer. Andy is also a member of the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters.
Andy and his wife have been married since 1996 and they have one son.
