Garrett York has joined Altieri Insurance Consultants as a licensed Public Adjuster.
Working out of our Florida Panhandle office, Garrett will work collectively with various Altieri personnel within the company’s spheres of service to assist policyholders throughout the United States and Caribbean Islands.
Garrett’s expertise in both construction and the insurance claims adjusting field, will afford him the opportunity to adjust claims of his own while also assist several of the firm’s adjusters with damage estimating evaluation, integrating those skills with the successful resolution of claims adjustments for our clients.
Garrett’s capabilities add to the vast array of professional experts incorporated within the Altieri organization. His presence will further strengthen our ability to serve our clients’ needs after suffering property loss in the most professional of ways regardless of the type of damage sustained.
In his past years, Garrett attained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He then worked in the world of finance as a Derivatives Trader, where he ultimately became a Compliance Officer for a private wealth management company. This experience is where Garrett learned how to work under pressure and where he honed his analytical skills, serving him well to this day.
Garrett is a family man. He says, “My family grounds me.” He enjoys family outings, creative cooking, and is a self-professed sports fanatic from baseball to golf.
It is the thrill of competition from his love of sports, which resonates with the challenges posed by adjusting claims. This fuels Garrett’s desire to be a key factor in gaining fair settlements for clients with their insurers, helping to restore their lives as they once knew.
