Gil Shalmon is a Licensed Public Insurance Adjuster with Altieri Insurance Consultants and is our Regional Director of Business Development & Public Adjuster.
As part of the company’s Business Development division, Gil is responsible for the company’s public messaging, through a variety of Social Media platforms and personal interaction, focusing on those with commercial properties and in Property Management.
Gil plays a major role in national trade show and industry conference events promoting the superior claims work and reputation of the firm’s adjusters on behalf of our commercial clients increasing Altieri’s name recognition within various sectors of industry.
Prior to joining our firm, while working in a similar capacity with another firm based in the U. S. Midwest, Gil identified Altieri Insurance Consultants as one of the premier public insurance adjusting companies in America. Recognizing Altieri as a fast-growing firm with an outstanding reputation for superior claims service, Gil felt his marketing and communication skills would fit very well inside this flourishing organization. Gil’s record for achieved growth in the industry was welcomed by Altieri’s ownership, resulting in him joining the firm in August 2020.
Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Gil attended the University of Kentucky where he studied Business Management. Wanting to pursue a career in sports after graduation, Gil went on to graduate school at Florida Atlantic University for their Sports Management MBA program. From there, Gil worked in sponsorship sales and marketing for several NBA, NHL, and NFL teams before transitioning into a similar role in the music industry at Live Nation.
After several years in music with marketing agencies, Gil pursued an opportunity in Public Adjusting where he felt his marketing skills could be put to even better use.
In his free time, Gil can be found playing basketball, enjoying the outdoors, trying a new restaurant, or relaxing to live music.
