Matthew E. Higgins is an Executive General Adjuster with Altieri Insurance Consultants. He is a multi-State Licensed Public Insurance Adjuster joining the firm in 2011.
Matt has grown to tremendous heights within the company over his years as a go-to adjuster for many of our adjusters. Matt possesses exceptional insurance policy knowledge, is an accomplished building damage estimator, and is extremely proficient in creating damage comparison analysis reports designed to detail and highlight an insurer’s claim deficiencies.
Matt’s calm, professional demeanor, even in the most trying of circumstances, provides our clients with confidence that his thoughtful guidance and leadership in bringing their claim to a successful conclusion will overcome any potential impediment rising during an adjustment.
Matt is a bright and articulate adjuster who provides in depth analysis of insurance policy language to benefit our client’s coverage position and can put those thoughts into writing easier than most. His superior pen-to-paper skills allow for him to articulate his positions clearly, concisely, and with authority. Insurance Company Adjusters cannot help but start nodding in the affirmative by the time they are done reading. This valuable trait translates into insurance adjusters better understanding our claim outlook, resulting in clients receiving settlements from their insurers that are far more favorable.
Matt’s initial foray into property claim damage evaluation began in 2006 working for a New Orleans law firm assisting their attorneys by creating building damage estimates of client owned properties after Hurricane Katrina. In 2008, Matt was licensed in Mississippi as an Independent Insurance Adjuster handling property claims for various carriers.
Matt received his Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University in December of 2000.
