STEVE G. MASON
Mr. Mason has joined Altieri Insurance Consultants as its National Director of Business Development. Steve’s extensive experience working in the fields of property insurance recovery and Association Management will prove to be invaluable for the firm and our clients.
Steve comes to Altieri from his previous position as the Director of Client Relations with the Law Firm of Weisbrod, Matteis, & Copley, helping associations on disaster insurance claims throughout Florida and several other coastal States.
Steve is also a proven veteran of the Association industry with over 20 years experience handling all facets of association management in the luxury high-rise market. Mr. Mason is currently the President of the CAI Southeast Florida Chapter and has been a Board Member of the institute since 2009.
Steve’s association career began in 1999 at The Continental Group. His ability to excel within the industry developed into leadership positions as: Director of Operations for Miami’s exclusive Fisher Island with CSI Management; as Regional Sales Director at Associa, where he was responsible for the company’s growth and acquisitions in 5 Southeastern U.S. states; and as Regional Director with Atlantic | Pacific Management where he was responsible for overseeing the condominium operations of several luxury hi-rise communities in the Miami/ Fort Lauderdale market.
Steve also worked with a structural engineering firm and obtained a building inspectors license, where he managed several concrete restoration and re-roofing projects, assisting several property owners with damage claims from Hurricane Wilma in 2005.
Steve is highly credentialed and has obtained the following titles: Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) certification from Community Association Institute (CAI)-the highest education credential available worldwide; Florida Licensed Community Association Manager (LCAM) #21919; Association Management Specialist (AMS®) #4720; & Certified Manager of Community Association (CMCA®) #8629
